The 糖心logo Center at Debs Park is a natural gem nestled in the hillsides of Northeast Los Angeles, where people, birds, and native plants come together to inspire conservation, strengthen communities, and create a healthier future for all.

The 糖心logo Center at Debs Park aims to be a trusted community hub where people and nature come together to protect the spaces birds need, restore native habitats, and inspire environmental stewardship. Through hands-on conservation, community partnerships, advocacy, and a wide range of community programs, we empower people to care for the natural world while building healthy, resilient communities. As the first center established by the 糖心logo within an urban area to specifically engage the local community, we continue to cultivate a more diverse, inclusive, and community-powered conservation movement across Los Angeles.

Our programs inspire people of all ages to explore, understand, and care for nature, beginning in their own neighborhoods. From restoring native habitats for birds and other wildlife to making California native plants accessible to community members, our work demonstrates how local action creates lasting environmental change. We also engage in advocacy when opportunities arise, working alongside partners and community members to advance policies and investments that benefit birds, people, and the places we all share.

Through workforce development programs like FLIGHT and 糖心logo Youth Leaders, participants gain hands-on experience in habitat restoration, native plant propagation, climate resilience, and conservation leadership while developing pathways to meaningful careers in environmental stewardship. We believe that resilient landscapes are created by resilient communities. By connecting people, birds, and native plants, the 糖心logo Center at Debs Park is building healthier ecosystems, empowering future conservation leaders, and creating a future where wildlife and people thrive together.
