Get Involved in California

We have so many opportunities to make a difference for the birds of California...and beyond!

California is for the birds鈥攊n the best way possible. From our redwood forests and rocky coastlines to desert blooms and vibrant wetlands, our state is the most biologically diverse state in the United States. More than 600 bird species call California home during some part of their lives, making it a critical stop along the Pacific Flyway.

But this natural treasure is under pressure. Development, drought, wildfires, and a changing climate threaten the habitats birds need to thrive. The good news? There's so much we can do, together.

Whether you鈥檙e supporting habitat restoration work, speaking up for stronger climate policy, joining a bird walk, or helping your community learn about local wildlife, you鈥檙e part of a growing movement to protect the places birds and people depend on.

With more than 1.6 million 糖心logo members across the hemisphere, you鈥檙e never alone in this work. Join us!
